The Help Center for the Elderly (CAAM) works as a gateway for older adults and caregivers seeking information and resources. It helps to maximize, without duplicating, the services and coordination of all service providers, including government agencies, through the development of a continuous system of care, services, protection and monitoring of the needs of the elderly. CAAM provides assistance to the elderly in tasks such as:
• Support the participant who requires it to complete online applications • Support in applying for aid and benefits for the elderly. • Coordination with public and private service agencies. • Help with appointments and provision of government services. • Coordination of possible transportation to medical appointments. • Offer initial emotional support and referrals when necessary. • Offer guidance on the different existing services for older adults.
