Emotional relief services (Debriefing) for first responders in the southeast area of Puerto Rico through the Serrallés Foundation.

Its purpose is to offer people a space to ventilate feelings, while providing them with a frame of reference to understand their reactions and try to reduce the secondary anxiety caused by these reactions. Its function is to normalize post-trauma reactions so that the person gains a sense of control over their life. The Debriefing service is one more complex than the training and training. Through these sessions we achieved:

a) Explore emotions and reactions to the Covid pandemic
b) Receive information and normalize responses
c) Develop cohesion and receive support
d) Develop trauma management skills
e) Identify people in need of psychological follow-up.

This project allowed for 38 Debriefing sessions in the area southwest of the Island. On this occasion, nearly 700 participants were impacted.
